David Yarkin is a recognized expert on strategic sourcing in the public sector. As Deputy Secretary for Procurement of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, Mr. Yarkin led what has been called “the most sweeping transformation of state procurement in decades.” During his tenure, Pennsylvania saved $140 million (now $330 million) annually through strategic sourcing and established a procurement shared services center, centralizing all state contracting under DGS.

Eric Zoetmulder is the Market Director for the Public Sector at SciQuest. In this role, he is responsible for driving SciQuest product strategy and setting market direction. Eric formerly managed the supplier network services for SciQuest, giving him a unique understanding of customers and suppliers in automated source-to-settle processes. Eric is a regular speaker at industry conferences, including NIGP, NAEP, and NACUBO, and co-author of the NAEP Green Procurement Survey.
